Proposal Manager

Gaudreau, Inc. is a privately held architectural design and planning firm established in 1927, which serves clients across the region in a variety of markets. We offer an expertise in corporate facilities design, academic communities and in the science and high technology sectors. We have an opening for a Proposal Manager in our Baltimore office in the lively Federal Hill neighborhood. This position will work under the firm’s Director of Marketing in the execution of firm wide marketing and business development initiatives. This person is a team player who can also work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of proposals / qualifications packages / presentations including overall strategy, messaging, RFP compliance, content development, writing, graphics, production and delivery.
  • Collateral development – create, update and maintain firm and project information to create marketing materials such as resumes and project sheets.
  • Develop, coordinate and organize marketing materials including presentations, reports, photography, project summaries and staff resumes.
  • Collect, develop and edit content, data and images.
  • Conduct RFP/bid board searches and analyze results.
  • Assist with other tasks as necessary to include public relations efforts including advertisements, mailed announcements, email blasts, social media and project award submissions.
  • Corporate marketing duties include website, collateral, corporate branding, and coordinating team-building activities.
  • Participate in professional and community organizations to promote firm visibility and recognition.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional environment. Previous experience in A/E/C industry preferred.
  • Degree in Business, Communications, English or other related field.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Photoshop).
  • Excellent technical and persuasive writing skills.
  • Strong graphics design skills (portfolio/examples of work will be requested if selected for an interview).
  • Experience working with government forms.
  • Knowledge of CRM/marketing database platforms (experience with Deltek Vision a plus).
  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise the work of others.
  • Strong oral, written and graphic communications skills.
  • Highly organized and professional with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern Gaudreau, Inc. is a privately held architecture and planning firm located in Federal Hill with an opening for a Marketing Intern in our Baltimore office. In our more than 92 year history, we have developed a reputation for design excellence and community service. We deliver service excellence to our clients through the creation of state-of-the-art facilities that sustain, stimulate and endure.

The successful candidate for the position will be a self-starter with excellent verbal, written, organization, time management, communications and computer skills.

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all-encompassing:

  • Support the organization, coordination and/or development of marketing materials including proposals, presentations, collateral, reports, photography, project summaries and staff resumes.
  • Assist with the timely production of proposals including binding, distribution and delivery.
  • Collect, develop and organize content, data and images.
  • Conduct Request for Proposal and bid board searches.
  • Assist in maintaining company website and posting social media content.
  • Assist with other tasks as necessary to include external and internal events and community outreach.
  • General marketing administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Current Junior or Senior college student or recent Grad
  • Prefer prior office-setting experience
  • Course studies applicable to position (marketing, business or communications)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign & Photoshop skills a plus.
  • Ability to work independently

Seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience to work on a wide variety of projects including corporate, academic and science oriented facilities. Architectural license required.

Interior Designer

Seeking a creative Interior Architect/Designer with high level interior design experience and a minimum of 10 years of architectural practice experience. Architecture license and/or Professional Interior Design registration preferred.

Project Architect

Seeking a Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to work on a wide variety of project types including corporate, academic and science facilities. This position requires strong technical/production skills and REVIT proficiency. Must have the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
