Gaudreau/CM, Inc. is a Maryland corporation that entered the field of design build and program management in 1998, through its joint experience in designer-led Construction Management and 70 years of architectural/engineering services. This unique combination allows us to demonstrate our expertise in various project applications. Our clients can begin a project in the conventional design mode, and after a realistic schedule and budget have been established, select the project delivery method that best suits their project needs. This approach is not new or unusual; it reflects the architect as "master builder" concept where the architect serves as the primary point of contact, control and responsibility. We also have extensive experience with constructor-led design build. Firm principal William L. Gaudreau, AIA, is an active member of the Design/Build Institute of America and has successfully led many design/build and "fast-track" projects to completion under both approaches. He served as the moderator for a panel discussion on design/build which was sponsored by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and included panelists from the State of Maryland and the Federal Veterans Administration.
