Mother Seton Academy is an all-scholarship, independent non-profit Catholic middle school dedicated to the education of boys and girls from low-income families in Baltimore. Through a rigorous academic environment and extended day program, the school provides a holistic education to at-risk students in order to prepare them for future success in high school, college and the work force. The acquisition and renovation of this former urban city school doubled the Academy's square footage and allowed MSA to design and maintain a gymnasium, cafeteria and chapel - none of which they had in their previous location. Classrooms were designed to support lecture style teaching as well as MSA's trademark informal seating area in the rear of each classroom. Gaudreau, Inc. worked with the students and the art teacher to develop color themes for each of the three floors.
